Larry King's Hangin' It Up!

Say it ain't so, old man?!

Here's what the legendary talk show host said on his twitter today:
"I’m ending my nightly show this fall but continuing at CNN."  Larry will be doing specials and would like to focus on sports stories.

He wrote in another message, "It's time to hang up my nightly suspenders."

CNN sources tell TMZ they're in talks "with a number of people" and they expect to make a decision on Larry's replacement in 2 to 4 weeks.

A sad day in television history. here's my favorite Larry moment in recent memory:

My new favorite song

Wow, I hate rap. And B.o.B's Airpalnes with Haley Williams (who makes this song, if you ask me) is hands down one of my favorites on the radio right now. Rap like this is good rap. No vulgar language. Nothing about doing chicks. Just rap with a great message, and a great sound with Williams. Alex dubbed me into the Sound Genre back in college. This song more or less confirms that.

What is a spinoff?

According to Wikitionary (yea, that's Wikipedia's dictionary) a spin-off is:
1. Offshoot.
2. An incidental benefit or unexpected pay-off. Space research often provides a spin-off for everyday technology.
3. By-product.
4. A fictional work where the protagonist was introduced in a preceding work or at least shares the same equivalent setting, often in a different aspect. Like most spin-offs, I enjoy Fraiser more than the original show.
5. The formation of a subsidiary that continues the operations of part of the parent company; the company so formed.
Here at The Token Spinoff, we'll try to be an offshoot of Token Sports, have some sort of unexpected pay-off for you, the one reader of Token Sports (and now The Token Spinoff), and still contiue to operate as part of Token Sports.

And we'll show you some Frasier to make you happy.

Enjoy!
